Week 18 - Home Sweet Home

Nothing like a pregnancy to move along decorating plans at home.

We moved into a beautiful boutique styled apartment at the beginning of the year and what I loved most about this place was that it was quiet, airy and it was a blank canvas. The perfect place to stamp my mark.

I have only managed to paint a few walls in Ethan’s room and put up some gorgeous wall- paper in the living space to date. But guess what?! Baby number two has motivated me to get a move on, because as we all know once bub comes along there will be no time for decorating.

Dad is coming over from New Zealand to visit this week and he doesn't know it yet but I have elected him to paint a couple of feature walls. I still have not decided on the colour , but i have narrowed it down and I have 3 swatches stuck patiently on the wall awaiting my final decision.

I am also on the hunt for some classic vintage styled ceiling fans for the bedrooms up stairs and I already have a fab lighting fixture for the kitchen ceiling (which has been sitting in the cupboard for the past 6 months). So once I get the electrician in for these jobs I will also get fitted an automatic garage door too. This will make life so much easier.

Wallpaper for the master-bed room is also on the agenda. I have not found anything as yet, but will keep looking.

A girl on a mission, that’s me!

My dad has been writing a book precisely on point with this blog, I have emailed him the web address so perhaps he could pick up a couple pointers. Fantastic Job.
