Being recognized with ‘Maternity Brand of the Year’ at a young age for Cake Lingerie (3rd year of business) – is a tremendous and honourable accomplishment and we hope you join in the celebrations with us!

Cake Lingerie was awarded Maternity Brand of the Year last night at the inaugural UK Lingerie Awards, run by industry publication, Lingerie Insight.

The UK Lingerie Awards recognises outstanding examples of excellence in the market during the past year across lingerie brands around the world.

Cake Lingerie took out the top position against strong competition, taking home a prestigious golden trophy and the triumphant title of Maternity Brand of the Year.

“We were thrilled to find out we were a finalist in July, then to wait all this time and hear we actually did it – it has been an amazing year for Cake Lingerie,” said Cake Lingerie Designer & Founder, Tracey Montford.

More than 250 lingerie specialists attended the event at One Mayfair, London with 20 categories of awards, highlighting areas of lingerie from mens, womens and retailers to name a few.

“This award solidifies our position in the maternity lingerie market and strengthens us as a highly acclaimed brand for pregnant and nursing mothers,” Tracey continued.

The 2011 Judges included Rigby & Peller founder and Queen’s corsetiere June Kenton, Debenhams’ lingerie head of design and buying Sharon Webb, De Montfort University course leader Gillian Proctor, The Lingerie Collective founder Kelly Isaac, Intimate Apparel Consultancy founder Claire Franks, celebrity lingerie designer Nichole de Carle and Lingerie Insight editor Kat Slowe.
